Colleen Shaffer

Colleen hails from a small New England town where picking blueberries and running barefoot is normal. She studied at Lawrence University and received her Master of Music from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. She moved to Colorado in 2013 and performs frequently with all the major regional ensembles. Before moving to Colorado, Colleen played with the Charleston Symphony, Chamber Music Charleston, Savannah Philharmonic, and Civic Orchestra of Chicago. She made her Broadway debut in 2005 with Fiddler on the Roof. Colleen and her husband, Kris spend time chasing their three young sons around the mountains and try to entice them to kindness.
