legacy recording project

PRESERVE THE SOUND. SHARE THE STORY.
INSPIRE GENERATIONS
.

This season, Denver Brass captured the energy of live performance in two professionally recorded albums, now being shaped into lasting musical legacies. This summer, we continue the journey with a third album featuring Sketches of Courage, produced with Grammy-winning artists.

Bringing this music to life requires significant investment—musicians, production, engineering, and mastering—totaling nearly $100,000 across all three projects.

We invite you to be part of this historic moment. Your support ensures the music you love lives on—resonating in homes, classrooms, and hearts for generations to come.

May 2026: Sketches of Courage

This album is centered on a distinctly American voice—bold, expansive, and deeply human. It’s patriotism, yes—but not confined to marches or nostalgia. This is a broader, more nuanced expression of what it means to reflect on our past and imagine our future. We will be working with 7 time Grammy Award winning producer, Elaine Martone. For Sketches of Courage, we will also be working with a yet-to-be-announced celebrity narrator.

Selected repertoire:

Sketches of Courage – Sean Schafer Hennessy
Known but to God – Sean Schafer Hennessy
Overture for a New Day – Andrew Wolfe
Fanfare for the Common Man – Aaron Copland
Fanfare for the Brave – Andrew Wolfe
