Some concerts ask you to sit quietly. This one aspires to have you clapping along and joining the chorus. Harmony & Hops celebrates Gemütlichkeit—the warmth, friendship, and simple pleasure of gathering in good company. Brahms brings the waltzes, Rutter calls for “Good Ale,” and Orff takes us straight into a medieval tavern. P.D.Q. Bach makes certain that decorum does not survive the evening. The Aries Brass Quintet of Denver Brass and CherryTones join lively polkas and familiar favorites as the evening builds toward what Oktoberfest does best: bringing everyone together in song. Come for the music, stay for the merriment, and leave with your spirits—and perhaps your glass—raised.

*After the Saturday concert, continue the celebration at an Oktoberfest featuring the Aries Brass Quintet, beer, nonalcoholic beverages, and German-inspired treats. A separate ticket is required.
