Toshi Chun

Trumpets

Toshi Chun is a Denver based trumpeter and music educator. Equally at home in the dance club and the concert hall he has performed across the country with Broadway legends like Bernadette Peters, The Rock Band Kansas, Salsero Charlie Aponte, and as a soloist with the University of Portland Wind Ensemble. A passionate and lifelong educator, Toshi’s students have been accepted to top programs across the country including the Eastman School of Music and the University of North Texas.  Toshi is a graduate of the University of North Texas and his principal teachers include Keith Johnson, Robert Murray, and Wiff Rudd. He currently resides in Denver with his wife Jenna and his Dog Goose. When not performing or teaching he can be found across the State of Colorado hiking, biking, and climbing.
