Ben Hopkins

Tuba

Ben Hopkins is a graduate of the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music where he obtained a Bachelor of Music. Hopkins studied tuba performance with both Kathleen Brantigan and Warren Deck. Ben has held fellowship positions as principal tubist with the Wichita Youth Symphony and Denver Young Artists Orchestra, and has performed as principal tubist with the Wichita Grand Opera. Ben is currently working on his Master’s degree in Tuba Performance at the University of New Mexico and enjoys freelancing as performer and educator.
